So I just realized that I completely forgot to post about my DELICIOUS dinner last night at Korea Garden, located at 9501 Long Point Road. We ordered ulgogi (thinly sliced Korean-style marinated ribeye), dwe-ji bulgogi (spicy marinated pork), and hyumit gui (sizzling beef tongue). The awesome staff brings tons of sides to eat with the meal (they're unlimited, so when you run out they'll bring more out). This is a really fun place to come eat at because you prepare your meal right in front of you at your table.
The beef, you simply cook & eat. Although if you love foods high in sodium (like me), you can dip the pieces in the salt/sesame oil type of dressing they bring you (which is designated for the beef tongue). The beef tongue, like I stated right above, you dip in the salt/sesame oil dressing & eat it while it's still hot (the beef tongue is my FAVORITE). The spicy pork needs to be cooked thoroughly before served and can be wrapped in a lettuce leaf. Add the bean sauce, garlic, and jalapenos, and you have yourself a delicious spicy lettuce wrap! Korea Garden has a nice selection of beers and different kinds of sake as well.
Out of the different Korean bbq places that I've tried in Houston, I've found this one to be my favorite in regards to the flavor & quality of the food, as well as the customer service. Can't wait til I come back to this spot in another week!!!
